To Those Who Read this Letter,

There is always a special place in my heart for the military. They serve us everyday, while we work, play, or sleep. They are always defending our country and freedom whether serving domestically or foreign. But what happens when they need protection?

In a place they should feel the most protected, they came under attack. It was for this reason they needed to depend on the defenders of freedom within the local area. These two brave police officers acted quickly without a thought for their own safety, worrying first for the safety of the military brave who were vulnerable at that moment. These two brave heroes came to the rescue of hundred who may have been in harms way. 13 killed and 38+ injured and yet it may have been more.
